We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God without any mistakes or errors.
The Bible tells us, that in a world filled with sin, we humans made a real mess of things. So much so, we lost our relationship to God.
The Bible also tells us that there was no way back into that relationship through anything we could do.
We needed a Saviour. So God stepped in.
‘For God so loved the world, He sent His one and only son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him, will have life and have it abundantly’. (John 3:16) We know that last word is a ‘churchy’ kind of word, but in this case, it is a good one. It means life will be full, meaningful, and better than what we can imagine-Forever.
God restored the relationship between Himself and us.
How does information like that make believers want to live? Thankfully.
Is there a way to live thankfully? For sure.
Here’s how: Love God. Love your neighbor. (Luke 10:27, Mark 12:30, Matt 22:39)
What does a thankful life look like then, for those worshipping at Community Church? It means we try to follow God’s example: Living a life of love. Love lived and expressed at home, at church, in our neighbourhoods and around the world. A life of living in relationship with God and others. Community. This is at the core of who we are.
